West Ham & Beckton Conservatives have selected Rois Miah as our candidate for the Plaistow South by-election on Thursday 18th September 2025.
Rois is the current Chairman of the Association and a long-time resident of Plaistow. He writes:
Dear Neighbour,
I wanted to write to introduce myself as your candidate for Plaistow South in this by-election.
I know how difficult things have been recently, and this Labour Council, supported by the Greens and Newham Independents, have done nothing to make our area safer, cleaner or more affordable for local residents or small businesses.
YOU AND PLAISTOW SOUTH DESERVE BETTER.
I will be the strong voice that stands up for all local residents and small businesses, to put more police on our streets, stop the littering and fly-tipping that blights our area and stop the wasteful spending that we are paying for.
A vote for me is a vote for REAL change, the change we have all been waiting for.
I look forward to meeting with you very soon and together we can make Plaistow South a much better place to live and work.
Rois Miah
Councillor Candidate and Local Resident
